Open Access Policy

Neue Politische Literatur is committed to the principles of open science – publicly funded scientific research should be freely accessible. This is consistent with the policy of its publisher, TUjournals at TU Darmstadt, which has signed the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities.

All journals at TUjournals are classified as Diamond OA journals, including the NPL. Authors do not pay any article processing charges. All content is available to users free of charge.

The articles are published under the CC-BY licence in the public domain with attribution (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.en).

The full texts of the articles may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched or linked. The copyright and full publication rights to the articles remain with the authors without restriction.

The TUprints repository operated by TU Darmstadt ensures long-term archiving; this is accompanied by the submission of publications to the German National Library.
